Toys held in St. Fagan’s National Museum of History
Made by the Vale of Clwyd Toy Factory in Trefnant. The company provided employment for wounded soldiers during and after the First World War.
Doll in Welsh Costume
Welsh Costume wax doll with articulated joints and painted facial features. She wears a woollen petticoat, a blue and white checked cotton apron, purple printed cotton blouse, a beige cotton shawl, a Welsh hat and a bonnet with a net trim.
Underneath, she wears a pair of grey woollen socks, navy printed cotton bloomers and black shoes with a bow detail.

Toy Models
Painted wooden toy models of the 1914 Gorsedd of the Bards. Made by the Vale of Clwyd Toy Factory in Trefnant. As a result of the outbreak of war, the Bangor National Eisteddfod of 1914 was postponed until 1915.
